Omg, not having a good day I have tried to set up 3-times, the first cartridges were faulty I'm now 25-minutes late for work....NOT A GOOD DAY!!! It seems to me that HD could be more patient friendly All the responsibility is put on the patient, draw labs, setup machine, do maintenance on the machine, documentation of treatment and then the Clinc acts like they are doing me a favor by allowing me to do dialysis at home. I don't see it that way, I'm doing them a favor by doing all the work for them. The situation is not good, as a patient your already giving up A LOT of your time and now I feel like I have to have a nursing degree just to keep up with everything. I can't say my transition to HD has been easy, because it hasn't .
