Does anyone else suffer from digestive problems? I was told that my stomach digests and empties at a slow rate. Any recommendations for a diet or even juicing? T1 for 15 years.

add fiber to your diet slowly. aim for half your plate to be non-starchy veggies and protein portions should be smaller than the palm of your hand. dried prunes are a natural remedy especially the dried ones. they still have the skin which contains sorbitol which is a natural laxative. i was doing some research and from what i found four in the morning and four before dinner will be a good start. just make sure to increase your water consumption and remember if you are thirsty you are already dehydrated. radishes are supposed to help loosen the intestines so I try to add these to my smooth ies. I was super compacted and after a week I started to have better movements. I also started eating applesauce because people give it ton their children to make them go. good luck hope this helps
