Does anyone else suffer from digestive problems? I was told that my stomach digests and empties at a slow rate. Any recommendations for a diet or even juicing? T1 for 15 years.

Do not eat anything spicy because it will come back on you. Eat small meals and watch the red meat. Soft or liquid is the best I hope this helps.

Absolutely. It is very common. The bad thing is that it's not a quick fix. The good thing is once you figure it out you get to enjoy healthy digestion for life.

have you asked your doctor if your symptoms are gastroparesis? This can be a complication of diabetes.

I went to see a doctor who did an upper GI, and he confirmed that I had slow stomach emptying. This was 2 months ago. It's just gotten worse. Thinking about going on a cleanse or juicing diet

See a dietician for a elimination diet. Especially being diabetic. Your insurance should help pay for it. I'm on an antiinflammatory diet due to fibro. There is a theory that we have "leaky guts".

This would be a much safer, and effective way to get what you need than a cleanse. When looking for a dietician tell them exactly what your purpose is. Not all are educated in all areas. I got lucky.
