Has anyone else noticed that your blood sugar goes up while you are sleeping. I will often go to sleep with my blood sugar in the 80s and wake up in the high 100s to low 200s

Your liver is huge organ which stores sugar and puts sugar into your body, if your slow acting insulin is not at the correct level you will have high sugars in the morning. I was told that it might be going low in the night so perhaps I should lower it, then maybe raise it I did both and am now 10 higher than I was with a good sugar level in the morning

It is called the Dawn Phenomenon. Energy is used for breathing so you burn less calories and your Glucose goes up.
