My insurance won't cover two expensive purchases within a certain amount of time. I want a CGM but need a pump. Do any pumps have CGM's in them or am I just wishing too hard?

The Medtronic 530G system. It's all integrated even the meter. Blue Cross Blue Shield approves it all at one time.

U can get a cgm on its own if you don't have a pump

I prefer them separate for a reasons. Dexcom has the best CGM on the market. Medtronic's CGM is the most painful ones I've gone thru

I have an animas vibe and it works with the Dexcom. The chart for Dexcom is actually connected and shows up on my pump. So 1 machine, 2 sites. I started using it about a month ago and I'm loving it. You could also get a Dexcom without a pump.

I would get a cgm if you can only get one. A number is just a number. The cgm tells you if you are going up down and how fast or staying level.

Go with a Dexcom 4G Share and you can get the readout on you smart phone.

Tandem just released the Tslim G4 that has the Dexcom G4 software integrated in it... Try for that so you can have them both.. Just make sure you check to see what the cost of the dexcom sensors will be for you..
