I don't know anything about a omnipod. I'm a Medtronic Minimed girl.
I am as well I have been one since I was 13 I'm almost 29 now but my pump is not working though I need a new pump
Omnipod has a program called "Cut the cord" where you can pay 200.00 and switch to their pump. Then it's just a matter of getting your insurance to cover the pods.
If there is a problem with your Minimed, they will usually replace it overnight. If it's out of warranty, insurance should cover a new one.
I don't have money for an omnipod I work a bunch and am still broke my husband doesn't work I am the only one working and we can barley afford our bills and my pump isn't out of warranty yet but this is my 8th replacement pump and minimed said they are refusing to send me a new one and now my insurance is refusing to cover my supplies and minimed won't send me supplies until I go see a new Endo and get a new script for my supplies and that won't be tell the end of the month and my insurance won't cover a pump for my son because they said they can only cover 1 pump per household
sounds like alot of stress :/ hang in there😯
Omnipod customer service is way better than Medtronic, worth the switch!!
I really want to get an omnipod bad!!!
