Do something or read a book to think of something else. And find a diabetic instructor to go to, that's what I did

It's ok... Take each finger prick at a time!! Move on! You were blessed with a life... Cherish it, it's precious. You can master this unwelcome passenger..... Control it!! It doesn't control you.

hi cadence, hopefully you are feeling better now. It can get very bleak at times but fighting back is always worth it

remember that through you have diabetes, it does not control you. you are greater than your diabetes. you will have bad days but you will also have good days. just remember there is always tomorrow :)

You can live a relatively normal, healthy life with diabetes. I do have depression and I have dealt with suicidal thoughts and I am chronically suicidal due to unrelated medical problems. You need to talk to a psychologist as soon as possible to get treatment and to keep it from getting worse.

There are also apps that can help, both paid and unpaid. 7 Cups of Tea and Kindly both are unpaid and let you talk to someone as long as you are not in crisis. TalkLife is also an app that is a support community for people affected by mental illness. There is also a paid app called Talkspace.

Talkspace lets you talk to a licensed counselor as much as you want for $30 a week.
