Makes a lot of sense. What else?

I believe that to help you feel like they care and support you by listening and trying to learn and understand the illness and what to do if something goes wrong.

Patience & lots of encouragement. I agree with Matthew. Lots of love & support.

I wish my husband was more educated about the disease. I feel like I have to always explain why and how about everything. I wish he understood more so he could support me and I didn't have to explain

What are the most effective encouragements you've experienced from a family member?

Prescott Valley, AZ
I find it most helpful when my husband finds and brings me something during a hypo. They are really hard on me and it's nice to not have to do it all myself.

Prescott Valley, AZ
It also really helps for him to be understanding of my moods when my sugar is off.
