THE ROLE

The VP Product is accountable to drive the direction of the HelpAround product/platform to align with market demand and create new channel partnerships.  This person can recognize trends, think forward about how to navigate towards the ‘blue ocean’, and create marketable differentiation of the platform so that it is a must-have for clients and partners. This person is a strategic thinker who can solve problems for pharma brands, channel partners and patients.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Steer the design and development of a platform that creates an intuitive patient journey
  • Pursue and execute win-win partnerships within outside companies/vendors
  • Create and manage a short-term and long-term strategy for patient acquisition channels
  • Design and manage a product strategy that is aligned with commercial goals
  • Continually research and evaluate the market to understand where HelpAround is positioned at all times.
  • Design and lead the Go to Market plans with signed partners (Timelines, training, materials, pipeline, roll out, KPIs, etc.)
  • Seek out and identify differentiation opportunities for new features/functionality
  • Align closely with Commercial Team on a strategy consistent with market feedback
  • Work closely with Operations Team to design client/ product implementation plans and timelines
  • Assist and help advise in the design of channel partnership integrations

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE)

  • Ability to start the workday as early as 8am EST
  • Good understanding of technology (APIs, CRMs, SFTP, widgets, etc.)
  • Good understanding of Pharma market trends, goals, strategies
  • Ability to piece together the patient journey gaps and how to solve them
  • Ability to evaluate trends & market requests for new feature opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Experience being a ‘thought leader’ or someone who has created successful short-term & long-term strategies previously
