HelpAround is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all physical and electronic information assets to ensure that regulatory, operational and contractual requirements are fulfilled.

The overall goals detailed within our information security policy at HelpAround are the following:

  • Ensure compliance with current HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
  • Comply with requirements for confidentiality, integrity and availability for HelpAround’s employees, customers and clients.
  • Establish controls for protecting HelpAround’s information and information systems against theft, abuse and other forms of harm and loss.
  • Motivate administrators and employees to maintain the responsibility for, ownership of and knowledge about information security, in order to minimize the risk of security incidents.
  • Ensure the protection of personal data (privacy) in accordance with HIPAA guidelines as well as GDPR guidelines and the Privacy Shield Framework.


HelpAround has received a HIPAA Seal of Compliance from the Compliancy Group and is a member of the Privacy Shield Framework.
