I don't know where my other post went. But it's getting close to reordering supplies for my pump. I currently don't have insurance. Anyone know where I can get supplies?
The insurance people came by and discussed insurance options with us. Diabetes is expensive and I'm depressed. Also, anybody with Aetna and on dexcom?
Type 1 diabetes: I have all the signs of DKA but mom won't take me to hospital
Checked BS 3 times, all over 600. Won't register on meter. Have almost all the signs of DKA but mom won't take me to hospital because they aren't experienced with DKA and we would just waste our money. We can't go to another hospital because we dot have insurance there. Please help! I feel horrible!

Went to my endo last week and was told unless I was a type 1 Medicaid would not cover a insulin pump.Wish I knew of another way.

I just started on an Accu-Chek Spirit Combo pump Friday, but our insurance also just changed. The new insurance doesn't cover the infusion sets. I use the Ultra Flex kind. Any help is appreciated!
Just found out I have to pay for my strips, insurance only covers 5/day & I test 8-12, if anyone has extra Aviva plus strips, plz help!!!
