My daughter was diagnosed on 6/21/13 and she was just 4. It's been hard but my daughters tough so the transition hasn't been as "daunting" as I imagined it would be. We also are still very early on and have had a lot of ups and downs.

Hi**** My daughter Haley is turning 6 in March, she was diagnosed in January #### at age 4. I'm so sorry you are going through this. I know things seem so overwhelming now. The only thing I can promise you is that you will learn and your daughter will thrive. I know you must be so worried. ((Hugs)) how are you guys doing?

I don't but hang in there I. Just found out. I'm stage 2 and I'm dealing with it my self but I think a child young would be a little easier make healthy meals and she'll enjoy that good luck

She is also the only one in her school this year with it. I have 3 other children, and they sometimes seem to be jealous or courious when it comes time for her insulin. I'm having issues with her dropping at school, there for a week, she would drop 2 hours after breakfast, and then 2 hours after lunch. This is just so much to take in!
