If you are on a pump I strongly suggest getting a sensor it lowered my a1c tremendously and if not try checking more often it has been proven checking at least 10 times a day decreases your a1c dramatically

I'm struggling with the same thing. One day I left my insulin at home, and I was going to wait for my lunch to go get it, even though I was already running high- my boss looked me straight in the eye and said "you should get it now. Your health is important." I really saw it as something that could be put off, but to have him say thy really snapped me out of it. The only way we can be better is if we take the time to test frequently and take our insulin on time- and that comes first. Two minutes to check/correct will not be the end of the world.

Ive been type 1 35 years. There is a multivitimin for diabetics in Boots called diabetone. It gives you all the minerals vitimins we need. Ive been taking them 2 years and have excellent control. I checked with doctor first. I test my bloods 3 4 times a day. I swim an hour a day none impact to your joints. The docs are so happy for me because as Im aging Im still healthy. Its worked for me I hope it helps others. Oh and drink water flushes toxins out of body x
