where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Hi I am 19 years old and fount out at the age of 6 I have T1D and was wondering how do you manage to keep up with it even with your busy schedule. It seems harder now I'm 19 and want to be a normal teen like everyone else around me.

It's hard I won't lie to you about that, I had to have a few breakdowns to see how important it truly was. But diabetes needs to be a priority. No matter what. I decided that I didn't want to be another statistics. I do not wanna be dead before I'm supposed too. I currently work two jobs and go to school for diagnostic medical sonography full time. It is not easy. But you have to do it. Or it will take control of you. Let me know if you have more questions! -****

Hi**** what in particular are you finding hard? Is it about testing, giving insulin? Eating the right foods
