Type 1 diabetes
Hello from Atlanta
Living with type 1 diabetes since 2014.
I'm a 44 year old woman diagnosed with T1D Aug #### after an infection. Quite a shock as I was training for my 1st half marathon and no one in my family has T1D. Currently using OmniPod and Dexcom.

Hi. I was recently diagnosed with type 1. I'm in the hospital now because my blood sugar hit extremely high levels.I'm freaking out a bit because I hate needles.if anyone has any ideas, let me know!!!
I have been been getting really low blood sugar (around the 50s) ever since I came back to college a week and a half ago. I'm usually in class when it starts to happen or really far away from my dorm. Also I eat a healthy well balanced breakfast and lunch. The only thing is that I have to walk a lot since it is a really big campus. It is really scaring me. Does anyone have any opinions on what can help me?
Upgraded to the Dexcom G5 I have my Dexcom G4 W/ Share Transmitter (only) available for someone. Started using it late Aug so there is good amount of life left in it. Looking for $100 plus shipping.
So I noticed the strangest thing.... Eggs make my blood sugar go extremely high, anybody else? I have no logic answer
This one's kinda for the ladies, but I don't know maybe guy diabetics have this problem too? Do y'all experience frequent bladder and yeast infections? If so have you found anything that helps? Thanks
So i just got a cgm and love it but i was wondering if there is anything i can do to reduce post meal spikes. Ive tried giving insulin 15-60 min before a meal, but still does not help. Any suggestions
Does anyone have an old CGM that they would be willing to sell or gift. I am stuck in that insurance/income limbo where I can't get the CGM or afford to buy one...ty for your time.
