where people touched by diabetes help each other.

My 9 year old, type 1 diabetic on the pump, is starting soccor for the first time.. she's not the most physically active person, meaning exercise wise... her weight is fine.. she's my big crafter.. so my question is.. any ideas on things to do for her to make practices and games easier for her..

to make her almost feel like no diabetes.. which i know isn't true and i won't treat it that way.. but i want her to enjoy herself, but be safe at the same time.. make sense??

You're doing. Just incorporate it i to her soccer. Take plenty of water, caprisuns if she gets low, her checker. Make it routine. That's how we do it w my son, it's just every day stuff. We do t dw
