where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Just wondering of any over diabetic has a go-to number of units (of fast-acting insulin) they inject when they just don't know how much to give (and/or how many carbs are in the meal)... Mines 12

Mine is 7 and then I'm on a carb count. For every 12 grams of carbs I add 1 unit of insulin. I have an app to help me count it's called CarbsControl

I guess roughly 4-6 depending on the meal as I know I won't go too low. Better to air on side of caution and do a unit or so less than u think 😃
