a complication of diabetes is Gastroparesis which can cause nausea. Also, having one autoimmune disease somehow makes it easier to acquire others such as celiac disease, etc. Could also just be a bug.
Have you tested for ketones ? Your sugar level could have been running high over night :)

it could be a sugar fluctuation. eating a string cheese, few cheese slices, or a spoonful of pb seems to help me.

I agree with what everyone else said. You should check ketones, sometimes bs is fine but you could still have ketones. Also, the autoimmune...celiac if quite prevalent in T1
Also, peppermint essential oil is wonderful for nausea
