where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Woke up today with crazy nausea.. Not pregnant, BS was 136.. I didn't drink it anything last night. It does happen from time to time. Any suggestions as to why this happens?

a complication of diabetes is Gastroparesis which can cause nausea. Also, having one autoimmune disease somehow makes it easier to acquire others such as celiac disease, etc. Could also just be a bug.

Have you tested for ketones ? Your sugar level could have been running high over night :)

Ask your doctor if it continues. You may need an adjustment to your medication.

it could be a sugar fluctuation. eating a string cheese, few cheese slices, or a spoonful of pb seems to help me.

I agree with what everyone else said. You should check ketones, sometimes bs is fine but you could still have ketones. Also, the autoimmune...celiac if quite prevalent in T1 Also, peppermint essential oil is wonderful for nausea
