where people touched by diabetes help each other.

I'm only three weeks into insulin injections. 3x a day humalog and bedtime lantus. I am itching like crazy as of 3 or 4 days now. Any suggestions?

I would check with endo - you can develop allergies to humalog - may need to switch to novolog

I had that problem with lantus. Once my Dr switched me it was gone.

My daughter got itchy skin from leaving her cgm sensor on too long. Her Dr gave her a shot to heal from the inside out which recked her blood sugar numbers. He also prescribed her Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream. He also suggested Oil of Olay bar soap and Eucerin calming creme lotion.

Doctors suggested I take Benadryl and goats milk lotion.

Benadryl is also to stop the allergic reaction of itching.

Or, it may not be related to diabetes at all. I sometimes blame diabetes for things but then realize it was just a common issue everyone deals with.
