Diabetes is a struggle, your family needs to realize sometimes is that there helping is actually hurting they need to step back sometimes. I've been type 1 for 20 years a1c down to 6.6

Hi**** I'm in QLD and have been diabetic for 13 1/2 years. It's really hard, especially when you're young. Add me if you need to chat or if you have any questions (or need tips)

That's a good hBa1c!! What do they want from you?! Remind them you did not choose this and you are doing your best. People get diabetic burnout too, where you just wanna give up

Suggest they go w/you to a doctor appt or a diabetes education class. You don't need extra stress.

That's really not a bad hba1c at all. Mine as a teen were between 16-24 for yrs...& part reason I'm sick now! Sounds like they'd benefit from education or talking to a T1 similar in age to themselves?

Hang in there babe. I've been T1D for 29 yrs. My hbA1C has never been stable. Parents just want the best and sometimes don't realise they are no helping. Xx

**** How old are you and what country do you live in? My son is T1 since he was 12 now 26. I just became T2 at 60. I'm just beginning to understand everything he has gone through. Tell them to get a monitor and test their blood.
