You should get involved with the diabetes online community. Look up the dsma, they have weekly tweetchats. You can also tweet me @type1cycling. I will be your diabetes buddy.

Look into your local JDRF or ADA chapter as well. Sometimes they have events where you can meet others in person--especially if you volunteer to help at the events
