Does anyone know if the stories about cinnamon and diabetes are true? Apparently half a tea spoon is really good for you?
Prescott Valley, AZ
It has never worked for my son & he's been a T1D for 6yrs now. We think it's something that got started. If it works for you then great. Good luck.
Living with type 1 diabetes since 2001.

Won't work with T1 but may with T2
The study that got everyone sold on cinnamon was very very flawed. That being said, it doesn't hurt and if I put it on some bland foods I don't crave putting sugar or honey on them.
Coconut oil is a big help for me with the cinnamon
Ooooo! That's good to know :-)
Rancho Cucamonga, CA
I'm T2 did not work for me. I would also put a cinnamon stick in my tea.

Hi everyone! I need help with choosing a pump :( I have tons of pamphlets that do a great job selling the product but I want to hear personal opinions. How expensive is the upkeep for them?
In the endos office, and the resident just told me my symptoms are because of my "poorly controlled" diabetes. Lol She then went quiet when endo came in and we discussed my regime, adj & fine tuning

Does anybody know why it's so difficult to lose weight being a type 1 diabetic? Something to do with insulin? And how can you make it easier to lose weight?
Hi everyone. Does anyone know what could cause pancreas to start producing insulin in sufficient manner after 11 years of T1? Since 35days now, I've stop insulin injections.
I started Juicing in Feb. 2013 and in Sept. was told I was no longer diabetic. So I asked the Dr. Was he sure and he said Yes. So I was confused and shocked, so I asked him do I need to continue testing and his response was No you don't need to test at all. Months later & I'm confused. Not sure.
