My son who is 20 is type one diabetic and without insurance right now. Hoping he will be covered starting in may. I'm in the western auburba of Chicago. Any idea on where to get cheaper insulin? He takes lantus and humalog.

There is a program called Lilly cares look it up on line the only thing with that is a dr has to fill out the form that gets u 5 bottles of humalog. U can also ask some dr offices if they have any samples most do and will give them to u.

I order my Novolog/Humalog from Canada. Even with my insurance, it’s cheaper to order it from Canada than my copay is here. You need a valid prescription, it’s a legitimate pharmacy and I’ve ordered from them several times so I can validate their legitimacy: ^that is just the one that l personally use but There are several other legit Canadian pharmacies online (a simply google search will get you there)

He should be able to get insulin from the government as this is a pre existing condition. Have you talked to doctors, pharmacies, insurance companies? Can he go under your insurance?
