hi, any problems with air bubbles with t slim cartridge / tubing?

I bring out the insulin from the fridge and let it get to room temp. then I fill the cartridge slowly. as I get to the finish, I remove the syringe from the cartridge membrane before any "champagne" bubbles get in. so it is a rare happening that I have air bubbles in the tubing.

most meters that I have dealt with have a battery conservation and it does turn off. But once I have taken it down for my pump info it doesn't matter.

The screen mainly shuts down to conserve battery life but unless I actively shut off the receiver it's still tracking my sugar levels so that's pretty cool
