Do you find you need something else to secure it? My daughter is getting one soon and we are trying to prepare. Thanks!

I got a chance to use a clinic one early last year and remember it being a challenge to keep it in place and secure for more than a week.

**** the adhesive is pretty good about lasting for 7 days. When people use a sensor for longer (including myself) additional tape or something is needed to hold it on securely. You will really appreciate what Dexcom will do for you guys.

IV#### is what I use,

We use skintac on my son and it works well for us. Also when he is living in the water in the summer we use Tegaderm

Skintac is great! When the edges start to come up (at abt 10 days), we Tegaderm over to get more time.

We use Skintac and Tagaderm. Get a tag punch from the craft store/Amazon to use on the Tagadem. It fits over the Dex perfectly.
