Planning on talking to my Dr. about getting on the pump.I'm Type1 I take insulin 3x's a day plus do sliding scale,levemir 1x.if I can,what would be the best as far as pumps go?How does it work?Thanks

I'm just wanting to make things easier. I have dilated cardiomyopathy as well and I'm taking lots of pills. I'm really leaning towards the pump. Just don't know much about them or questions to ask.

Being able to program from the meter doesn't sound like a big deal until you have to pull up your shirt to get to your pump in public. It's the small things. Animas also has a built in carb counter on

When we go to Arby's she looks up what she's eating in the pump and it adds that carb count to her bolus.

I use an Omnipod and love it! It is tubeless so you don't have to worry about messing with tangling up in the tubing. I was on Medtronic before an like this a lot better!
