Yes but insurance might not cover it.

I have no insurance so I might just ask my doctor and see what he thinks. I have trouble getting my sugar down and keeping it there.

A Type 2 who is on insulin can use a pump rather than do manual injections. For those who have not yet been placed on insulin it's not really an option to consider.
