where people touched by diabetes help each other.
Why are people with diabetes more prone to infections
From what I know is that if your sugars are consistantly high your nerves and blood vessels can be damaged. Therefore, there's not good circulation or blood flow.
How long have you been a diabetic! I've had it 40 yrs, type 1.
I been diabetic since I was 11 years old
But the nurse says type 2
I was 13. With type 2 there's ways to change being a diabetic t2 I've heard. :) This app has a type 2 support.
But I have a few other conditions which don't help either
Oh, I didn't realize that. Yeah so many illnesses or conditions can interfere. :( hang in there! ;)
Weakened immune system :/
Because diabetes destroys the immune system
