Why are people with diabetes more prone to infections
From what I know is that if your sugars are consistantly high your nerves and blood vessels can be damaged. Therefore, there's not good circulation or blood flow.

But the nurse says type 2
I was 13. With type 2 there's ways to change being a diabetic t2 I've heard. :) This app has a type 2 support.

So i just got a cgm and love it but i was wondering if there is anything i can do to reduce post meal spikes. Ive tried giving insulin 15-60 min before a meal, but still does not help. Any suggestions

I have been diagnosed since the 5th grade I'm now 18 and my doctor wants me to look into the pump .. How do you feel about it ?!
Anyone have suggestions for where to place a Dexcom cgm sensor? I would normally use my abdomen, but because of pump sites, it's pretty beat up there. Has anyone tried the back of the arm? The idea freaks me out but I may try it.
Checked BS 3 times, both read over 600. Mom won't take me to hospital because they aren't experience with DKA. I have almost all the signs of DKA expect large ketones and vomiting. Only small ketones and a stomach ache.What do I do? I would feel safer at a hospital but mom won't take me!Please Help!
