where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Nice to meet you all. I've had type 1 diabetes since ####. I'm 26. I was diagnosed at 10 years old, the only one out of three girls. My grandfather had it, my father has it, and now me. I was fortunate for them to catch it early after my parents decided to have us tested. I'm a bit of a health nut, but struggle to do as much as I did before getting married. I have always been determined to be the healthiest I can be and done lots of research on the processes of autoimmune disease, so that led me to putting myself on a gluten free diet and I try to avoid dairy. I have been gluten free for probably most of 6 years. I find that it helps me avoid developing more inflammation.
