I started Juicing in Feb. 2013 and in Sept. was told I was no longer diabetic. So I asked the Dr. Was he sure and he said Yes. So I was confused and shocked, so I asked him do I need to continue testing and his response was No you don't need to test at all. Months later & I'm confused. Not sure.
What insulin do the type 1s out there use? I've always used novolog (used to use levemir and novolog before pumping), but curious what others use and why? What's the fastest acting insulin out there?
For those that take insulin with your meals, how do you go about taking it when you're out at a restaurant or other social gatherings? Do you take it out in front of everyone or do you try to find a secluded spot to take it? How does it make you feel when you take it, knowing people are curious?
I can see black things floating with my left eye and also everything I see is blurry,I am type 1 any ideas?
Anyone with Type 1 diabetes able to speak with me for a story for @abcnews ? firstname.lastname@example.org
