Pump question! Is the Animus vibe compatible to the G5 sensors?
Are we allowed to ask or offer pump supplies on here?
I hate having diabetes more than anyone will ever know. No one can see it but it rules ur life 24 hours a day
Hi everyone. Does anyone know what could cause pancreas to start producing insulin in sufficient manner after 11 years of T1? Since 35days now, I've stop insulin injections.
Upgraded to the Dexcom G5 I have my Dexcom G4 W/ Share Transmitter (only) available for someone. Started using it late Aug so there is good amount of life left in it. Looking for $100 plus shipping.
I've been wearing my Dexcom for about three months now just wondering if any other adults have had luck placing in a spot other than the abdomen?
My son Brad was asked to speak last night at a JDRF walkathon fund raising evening about his experience with AFREZZA the new Inhaled Insulin. People were VERY excited. Over 100 attendees. He is 26&T1
My husbands birthday is coming up and we are going for dinner then he and our friends may venture elsewhere. My question is if you go out how do you explain the diabetes kit? Do bouncers even care? (Needles, lancets etc)
I was just diagnosed with type one. I've read a lot on here about pumps. should I be looking into getting one?
For those that take insulin with your meals, how do you go about taking it when you're out at a restaurant or other social gatherings? Do you take it out in front of everyone or do you try to find a secluded spot to take it? How does it make you feel when you take it, knowing people are curious?
