where people touched by diabetes help each other.

I am in the market for my first insulin pump. I will either chose the Animas Vibe with the Dexcom 4g CGM or the MiniMed 530G with Enlite. Please vote on which you would chose. Thank you!! :)

Definitely stay away from elite, their technology is way behind dexcom and you will be disappointed with their accuracy, sensor life and comfort. I have dexcom and can get three weeks out of the single sensor, I accuracies usually within five points of fingerstick.

I have the animas vibe with the dexcom and I love it! The only problem I've had with it was because I inserted the Dexcom wrong the first time. I called support &they sent me a new site free of charge for my mistake. It's great!

yes, dexcom is where it's at in the CGM world....I have the Animas Ping and I love it...but it all depends on what features are most important to you

I agree, stay away from enlite. It's awful. Dex is awesome tho.

Thank you for the feedback! The main reason I would even entertain the idea of getting a Medtronic is because their company is focused on creating the complete electronic pancreas. They also get FDA approval quicker than any other company. If I got the Animas, I would be stuck with it for four years

When I asked my endocrinologist which pump I should get, he said that he recommends all of them. They all are very reliable with a few different features associated with each one. I probably will go with the Animas Vibe due to the overall support it gets from these message boards. Thank you all!
