What can you do to stop getting low blood sugars while at a gym class

if have an insulin pump you should put it on temporary basal. lower your basal so you won't go low. also test your blood 20 mind before working at to make sure you are not at 80 and then you start working at! if your number is on the lower side but not low you should have a small snack to carry you through your work out.

My sugars actually increase due to exercise - adrenalin I guess - eat a banana pre gym

I take glucose tabs with me snd suck on them

if you have an insulin pump, I take it off and put it back on after. or you can also have a snack 5 minutes before.

Hi I'm type 1 & I do intense training, I always find it helpful to make a shake of banana whey protein. I add frozen berries & blueberries + Apple to my blender with frozen spinach & frozen kale. Pre workout & I've not had a hypo yet doing this way. I found eatting pre class it made me feel sick Hope this helps xx
