I would love to talk to some who had a hard time checking bloodsugars, and maybe give me some advice on how to check more frequently.
I set alarms on my phone for when I should be checking my levels and that go me into a routine

just curious what other people keep in their cars for possible reactions. I tried glucose tabs but they go bad in summer heat. Now I use fruit wraps.
I currently ran out of ketone strips and can not get to any at the moment. Can I just use my actual blood sugar meter and just dip a strip into (tmi) urine? Need advice here! I'm high and feel sick!

For those that take insulin with your meals, how do you go about taking it when you're out at a restaurant or other social gatherings? Do you take it out in front of everyone or do you try to find a secluded spot to take it? How does it make you feel when you take it, knowing people are curious?
Does anybody know why it's so difficult to lose weight being a type 1 diabetic? Something to do with insulin? And how can you make it easier to lose weight?
