where people touched by diabetes help each other.

How long after you were diagnosed were you put on a pump?? Or we're you ever on a pump? Very curious about pumps but extremely scared for some reason. I've only been diagnosed for 2 months

I was diagnosed at 14 and got a pump 2 years later. I'm 30 now. I have been on it off and on because of lack of insurance for the past several years.

I have been on a pump for about 20 years. Love it. Check with your endo to see if you can get any financial help or with the manufacturer.
