where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Recently I've been getting really lightheaded every time I stand up, does anybody get this? I've had it now and again but it's every time I stand up now and for a few seconds longer than normal?

It sounds like a postural drop with low blood pressure. I used to get this all the time. Make sure you are drinking lots as it boosts your blood volume and stand slowly

How are you feeling now?

Did you check levels at the time you felt light headed?

hi it does sound like postural hypotension (a drop in blood pressure when you stand up). This is usually caused by mediation, have you had any changed. Your GP or nurse could check it. In the meantime, get up more slowly, stand for a second before setting off, and be especially careful getting out of the bath
