where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Latley, I have been going low, yesterday I went so low I almost had a seizure/blacked out. I haven't changed my eating at all and I have even lessened my insulin dosages. I have maybe only been a little bit more active but not much to change my BS so drastically. Anybody know what's wrong?

Not sure. But I have seen where diabetics that have been dealing with the condition for many years develop a resistance to noticing their lows..

I feel my lows but I just don't know I've been going low so much! Like I've been going low like 5 times a day!

Could you be pregnant?

Wow.. I'm not really sure.. You know how it is with us. It could be hormonal, medication, sickness.. There's always something that makes our sugars go erratic.. My suggestion, go to the doctor.

FYI : if you have a freestyle meter or omnipod pump: there is a recall on freestyle meters , it says that the meter has an error where it drops you low!!

I'm only 14 so I know I'm defiantly not pregnant! But I have a doctors appointment this upcoming Wednesday, just thought I would ask on here for advice! And I am on injections, I have a Accu-Chek meter and I am currently wanting a pump.!

Pumps are the best! I've been diabetic for 20 yrs and I've had my OmniPod for the last 2 and I've never felt control like this.. Definitely look into it.. So your research, not all pumps are the same. Good luck to ya!

My daughter is a type1 and also 14 , she's mostly high! She's on a omnipod pump . I know most of insurance will cover omnipod! It's a great tool:)
