Looking for a "pay it forward" place. Switching pumps soon and will have a year's worth of unused supplies. Don't want to throw them away...
I have been been getting really low blood sugar (around the 50s) ever since I came back to college a week and a half ago. I'm usually in class when it starts to happen or really far away from my dorm. Also I eat a healthy well balanced breakfast and lunch. The only thing is that I have to walk a lot since it is a really big campus. It is really scaring me. Does anyone have any opinions on what can help me?
I just started using Afrezza (inhaled insulin). Still not sure how well it is working. Has anyone else been using it? Good or bad experiences?
I cannot afford my insulin anymore. I have Lantus pens to trade for Novolog or Humalog vials/pens. Any help is appreciated!
I am w/o humalog right now. I need to know where I can get emergency insulin or if anyone can help out.
I have been diagnosed since the 5th grade I'm now 18 and my doctor wants me to look into the pump .. How do you feel about it ?!
Does anyone else type one eat a lot? For past month or so I literally carnt stop it's like I'm never full.
Last Sunday, in the brutal heat, we were at my son's baseball game. I overheard another mother of a T1D mention heat effects her son more than a non-T1D kid. Anyone with this experience?
Hey, does anyone have study tips for the unfortunate diabetic? I'm a 1st year med student. I'm always high because I cannot concentrate after lows and I don't want to lose time on that...
Hey guys! How often do you go to the pharmacy or receive a mail order with supplies? Thank you!
