I just found out that my new insurance does not cover diabetes supplies. Does anyone know of any assistance programs, coupons or offers to help the cost of test strips? I will switch meters if needed.

Check with the Glucometer Companies! They may have discount coupons for their products. Also contact your Drs office, pharmacies or other Drs in your area and see if they are members of the MAPS Progra

Program (Medication Assistance Program)! I was able to get test strips, insulin and needles when my insurance was cancelled, at No Cost!!!

Walmart sells all diabetes supplies over the counter without a prescription. BG Test Meters for as low as $16 & (50) test strips for $9 They also sell Novolin R $25 & Novolin N $25 Needles $9

I forgot bout walmart the reli on has a meter and the strips are 9$ not sure on the cost of the meter I will check for u when I go there on the first of next month

I don't know where that part of Ohio your in but I work for Fruth pharmacy and we have a preferred meter for cash paying customers it is called prodigy and the strips I think are $19 for a box of 50
