I'd like to hear about this, too. 15 pounds in THREE days?! I've gained weight recently (15 pounds in one year and I thought that was pretty bad) by trying for really tight control and treating so many lows.

How long did it take you to lose the weight and I read into it and it says that's impossible apparently that it is water weight ?

All I've done is started walking a lot more than I did & keep my meals to about 30-35 carbs. My mealtime insulin dose is only 5-7 units now, instead of 10-12 units (sliding dose on insulin) Nothing major

That seems like a lot in a few days. You're not retaining fluid are you?

Well weight gain is listed as one of the side effects of insulin, unfortunately. But it always seems like there can be so many other factors to account for it, so how can a person tell? I guess one of the mysteries of this fun disease. 😕

Talk to your doctor about using Metformin with insulin. Studies have shown that the use of the two together can counter the weight gain caused by insulin. Has something to do with how the liver processes sugars.
