where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Anybody have any ideas on a pill I could take to help with weight loss? I already exercise 4 times a week and diabetes just makes it seem almost impossible to loose weight! I have been trying to eat right too. Any medication that any age, like 14 can us . Can't use Symlin, have to be 18 or older.

If you're 14, you might lose weight naturally as you grow. I'd speak to your doctor about achieving a healthy weight for your height. Are you type 1?

I am a type1 and my doctor says my BMI is on the lower side. I am 5'6 and the BMI should be between 20-25 for that height. He said I am a 21. I don't believe it because the pouch on my stomach makes me in disbeleief

Hmm. I'm not sure you should aim for weight loss, then. Like I said, you are still growing, and will be for a few more years. In case it's water retention, you could try reducing salt and drinking a bit more water.

Yeah def would not mess with weight loss pills. Try mixing cardio with a lot of core exercises. Core balance stuff and yoga is the best to get rid of some of that hard fat

I've lost 20 pounds by taking Skinny Fiber. From 186 to 165 and just taking skinny fiber and a lot of water. It's the only thing that's ever worked for me!

What is skinny fiber? A pill or something you mix with liquid? And is it safe for type 1s?

What helped me is power walking, watching what I eat, taking cinnamon pills helped with the diabetes.

Just FYI- cinnamon doesn't help with type 1 unfortunately.
