where people touched by diabetes help each other.
I'm hoping finding these groups are a positive for me. I don't have any support and would love to be able to talk to someone who just understands!

I cannot afford my insulin anymore. I have Lantus pens to trade for Novolog or Humalog vials/pens. Any help is appreciated!
For those that take insulin with your meals, how do you go about taking it when you're out at a restaurant or other social gatherings? Do you take it out in front of everyone or do you try to find a secluded spot to take it? How does it make you feel when you take it, knowing people are curious?
Anyone have suggestions for where to place a Dexcom cgm sensor? I would normally use my abdomen, but because of pump sites, it's pretty beat up there. Has anyone tried the back of the arm? The idea freaks me out but I may try it.
Anyone have a new Medtronic insulin pump 723 they'd be interested in selling? Insurance won't pay until next year and we really need one before then.
My son Brad was asked to speak last night at a JDRF walkathon fund raising evening about his experience with AFREZZA the new Inhaled Insulin. People were VERY excited. Over 100 attendees. He is 26&T1
I have a brand new Medtronic pump, CGM and sensors - I hated a pump... Would love to give it to someone!!
Ok, I admit it. I'm a diabetic noob. Am I also in denial that I have yet to resign myself to sticking myself regularly for testing? Hell, I hate it when others stick me! Must I now do it myself??!!
Does anyone have an old CGM that they would be willing to sell or gift. I am stuck in that insurance/income limbo where I can't get the CGM or afford to buy one...ty for your time.
Any of you have used the dexcom or freestyle flash? which problems did you find? thank you
I can see black things floating with my left eye and also everything I see is blurry,I am type 1 any ideas?
