where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Hey everyone!! I know lots of people have been interested and looking into the closed loop artificial pancreas systems ... I've been using Loop now for almost 2 weeks and it's been The best 2 weeks I've had in the last 8 years.... here's what Loop App status Screen looks like and --> my numbers for the last 12 hours or so... I've eaten some high carb meals & my # never popped above 200 even when I ate a baked potato (with steak and salad = so high dat and protein which helps extend absorption time...) but I completely forgot to boils for the meal and my blood sugars never went above 160.... and that's amazing and usually impossible for me!!! If anyone has any questions or is already looping and has any advice... please let me know. πŸ˜πŸ’©πŸ“ΏπŸ˜œπŸ’€

No, it's not commercially available. (Loop is for iPhones) - you need to have a mac to download x code (programming software) and download the code online from github.com // there are detailed directions online if you look it up

You will need a compatible minimed pump - a r Rileylink (pump to iPhone communication device) and an iPhone to run the app
