Take extra everything! You'll burn through a lot of test strips because your daily routine/exercise will be different. And doctor note(s) depending on where you are backpacking.

Take at least double of your supplies, and a letter from dr or endocrinologist stating you have diabetes and you have to have the supplies that you have

I started Juicing in Feb. 2013 and in Sept. was told I was no longer diabetic. So I asked the Dr. Was he sure and he said Yes. So I was confused and shocked, so I asked him do I need to continue testing and his response was No you don't need to test at all. Months later & I'm confused. Not sure.
