Some people can get up to 2 or 3 weeks on 1 sensor

do you wear it?

my 11 year old daughter wears her Dex for 2 weeks but I have read that many sdults will go much longer if they have good readings and don't have skin issues. The Dex will turn itself off after 7 days. Tp keep wesring it just stop the sensor and restart the sensor you have to wait the stsrt up period just like a new insertion but you are up and running.

sounds silly but that needle intimidates me.

the good thing is that you cannot see the needle before it goes in. my daughter uses lidocaine to numb her skin before pump amd dex insertions. it helps.
