In desperate need of a bottle of insulin in Seattle Washington, Ballard area! We can pay to replace! Bottles were left on vacation!
Ok, I admit it. I'm a diabetic noob. Am I also in denial that I have yet to resign myself to sticking myself regularly for testing? Hell, I hate it when others stick me! Must I now do it myself??!!
So i just got a cgm and love it but i was wondering if there is anything i can do to reduce post meal spikes. Ive tried giving insulin 15-60 min before a meal, but still does not help. Any suggestions
For those that take insulin with your meals, how do you go about taking it when you're out at a restaurant or other social gatherings? Do you take it out in front of everyone or do you try to find a secluded spot to take it? How does it make you feel when you take it, knowing people are curious?
Are we allowed to ask or offer pump supplies on here?
My husbands birthday is coming up and we are going for dinner then he and our friends may venture elsewhere. My question is if you go out how do you explain the diabetes kit? Do bouncers even care? (Needles, lancets etc)
I have been been getting really low blood sugar (around the 50s) ever since I came back to college a week and a half ago. I'm usually in class when it starts to happen or really far away from my dorm. Also I eat a healthy well balanced breakfast and lunch. The only thing is that I have to walk a lot since it is a really big campus. It is really scaring me. Does anyone have any opinions on what can help me?
My a1c is 8. I've only had diabetes for 3 yrs. I don't know how much damage I may have caused, But I have leg pain a lot (my endo asked about leg pain but I said no ... I was scared) what could it be?
So I noticed the strangest thing.... Eggs make my blood sugar go extremely high, anybody else? I have no logic answer
How does everyone keep track of their supplies / prescriptions / doctors phone numbers etc?
