hello I am a single mother of three on food stamps,who just found out I have diabetes I have no money to get the glucose meter and the test strips or the things you poke yo if somebody able to help m?

You do not need to buy a meter. Call one of the meter companies, and tell them you have diabetes. They will most likely give you a meter to get your strip business. You can always go to Walmart. They will not give you a meter, but the strips are the cheapest from them.

Lancets will last a long time. You do not need to use a new one every time. Just remember that you are now healthier than you were when you were diagnosed because you have knowledge. You are on the road to feeling better.

You should be able to get basic supplies through them. Ask the doctor who diagnosed you.

the dr who diagnosed me Saud there was no point in writing a prescription when I had no money to fill it. I had medical but it was canceled because of my income

That is awful. Doctors get samples from drug companies all the time. You should have MediCal.
