If you can get a Dexcom CGM, it will tell you what your blood glucose number is and if it is going up, down & how fast or if it is staying level. Also, the book Sugar Surfing is extremely helpful.

I have a cgm monitor. I dont use it because they cost about 50 bucks a piece and they kept coming out. Im not a good pricker. As much as i know how vital finger sticks are its the first thing i slack on after a good period of control. Any good method for getting the monitor to stay in? Ive used copious anounts of the tape provided but to no avail. I dont want to keep using them to jist waste it when it comes out prematurely.
