Hi, if you can get one, I recommend getting a continuous glucose monitor. It can help you find the trouble spots with your blood glucose throughout the day and night. Are you checking your blood sugar regularly? Possibly you are staying high through the night? Maybe you need a basal increase.

ditto on both. look into Afrezza inhaled insulin. it's so much easier and peaks in 12-15 min and leaves the body in 2-3 hrs.

First of all that stinks and it will get better. One key is to make sure your basal rates are good. Do you know how to test these?
