Does anyone know what Heath care for a diabetic is like in England?

it's not too bad, been T1 for 2 years.. you can always too to ur endo for some support but best to look online as other people may be having the same difficulties.. I got a book from JDRF explaining everything there is about diabetes! it's really good and handy to hav around the house.. hope that helps :)

I've been diabetic since '05 but got an offer to move to England. Wasn't sure how different Heath care would be there vs here.

well I'm south african and I know the health care in uk is so much better, it's probably the only reason why I haven't left yet! but like I said, it's pretty decent NHS covers all ur prescriptions .. though I'm not sure how things go in Wales

Nhs the best health care in the world definitely saved my life several times over 😄

Nhs is very good I've never had to pay for medical supplies and it's defo saved my life!

I have experience care as type 1 in us and UK. UK has a better chronic health management system. It only lacks good experience with pumps. But I don't use one. You will get excellent diabetes care.
